Keyboard shortcuts

NEOM is built for keyboard-first navigation. Every shortcut listed here is active in the current build. Mac users: read Ctrl as Cmd unless noted.

Global

These work on every page in the workspace.

Ctrl+K — open the command palette. Type a record reference (RFI-0023, VO-007), a tool name (drawings, cashflow), or any free text.
Ctrl+/ — focus the global search input in the header.
? — open the help menu (the one you launched this page from).
g h — go home (project home if a project is active, otherwise the workspace landing).
g p — open the project switcher.
g n — open the notifications panel.
Esc — close any open dropdown, modal, or focused input.

Command palette

When the palette is open (Ctrl+K):

↑ / ↓ — move selection up and down the result list
Enter — navigate to the highlighted result
Tab — cycle between result categories (Records / Tools / Projects)
Esc — close without navigating
Ctrl+Enter — open the highlighted result in a new tab

Registers (RFIs, variations, claims, drawings, etc.)

When the register table has focus:

↑ / ↓ — move selection between rows
Enter — open the highlighted row
Space — toggle selection (for bulk operations)
Ctrl+A — select all rows in the current page
Ctrl+F — focus the register search input
n — open the "new record" form (where the register supports creation)
r — refresh the register

Detail pages

When viewing a record detail (RFI, variation, claim, drawing):

e — open the edit form (where editing is permitted)
j / k — move to the next / previous record in the current register filter
b — go back to the register
c — focus the comment box (where comments are supported)
Ctrl+Enter — submit the focused comment

Daily log

n — new daily log entry
p — open the photo capture (on mobile devices)
← / → — previous / next day in the diary view
Ctrl+S — force-save the current entry (autosave runs every 5 seconds, this is the explicit version)

Drawings

+ / - — zoom in / out
0 — reset zoom to fit
f — toggle full-screen viewer
m — toggle markup mode (where the project membership permits markups)
Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Shift+Z — undo / redo the last markup operation

Programme (Gantt)

← / → — pan the timeline left / right
↑ / ↓ — scroll the task list up / down
+ / - — change the time-axis zoom level (week / month / quarter)
t — jump to today
Ctrl+0 — fit the entire programme to the viewport

Forms

In any create or edit form:

Ctrl+Enter — save and stay on the form
Ctrl+Shift+Enter — save and return to the register
Esc — cancel (prompts if there are unsaved changes)
Tab / Shift+Tab — move between fields

Notes

Shortcuts ignore key events when the focus is inside a contenteditable element or a form field — typing the letter n into a textarea will not open the new-record form.
The ? shortcut is the canonical way to view this page. If a shortcut listed here does not work, it has not yet been wired into the current build — file a support request with the page URL and the shortcut you expected.
