Retention math for SBX. These percentages drive every certified-claim retention movement and the PC/DLP release split at handover and end-of-defects.

Worked example — applied to SBX

Contract value: $0
Retention cap (= 5% × contract): $0
On a $200,000 certified claim, retention this period would be $0 (10%, capped if cumulative ≥ $0).
At PC handover, of the cap-held amount the principal would release $0 (50% PC), and at end-of-DLP $0 (50% DLP).
